For the past years more and more Filipinos were curious what’s blog is all about. The result? These Filipinos ended up having their own blog sites. Some became addicted to it while others started to blog but eventually stop updating their blog sites due to various reasons.
Filipinos who regularly posting entries to their blog sites somehow realize having a blog site adds up some excitement to their daily routines. It also opens the door to opportunity to earn from it. I believe this is a solid fact that most bloggers wanted to earn from their blog sites. With that purpose they strive hard to experiment, explore and learn from other pro bloggers.
If you happen to see this entry and you still don’t have a blog site but want to have one feel free to leave a comment.
Many of us blogger tries to promote, optimize blog site, post quality content everyday, target keywords, rank it on search engine then what? Of course profit from it.
Let me show you this reality. What if your blog site becomes popular? Then you noticed the website is getting slower and slower each day until it goes down almost every 5 minutes. Then your host suggested taking that affordable dedicated server since your Virtual Private Server cannot handle the blog site anymore. How far are you willing to go? Will you get that dedicated server that will cost you $99++/monthly? Not to mention the management additional cost you need to pay unless you are a knowledgeable server guy.
Now your monthly expenses doubled because of that scenario. It can be considered a good thing if your profit goes up as well but I believe high traffic does not always mean high profit. I’ve seen a lot of websites became popular then one day it cannot sustain the monthly expenses. Next option is to shutdown the site. So, for all you blogistas out there watch out for this situation. Make you sure you have plan B for this situation.
If you are blogging for several months now, you probably know already where your visitors come from. It could be the content that lead to your site, if could be also you got that promising keyword that the internet masses are seaching and return a good rank on google search results or maybe they just found your site from other web blogs. It doesn’t matter actually since all of it are web traffic.
In posting a blog entry, it is a must you target a keyword and talk about that keyword in your content. It will really help the blog entry to vie for a good position on google search results.

Its really amazing how fast wordpress powered blog ranked on google search results. If your post title is not that competitive you can expect google will put your blog entry in good results ranking in less time than you expected. In my other blog sites this usually happened in less than 5 minutes. But what I dont understand I’m having hard time targetting yahoo search engine results. Sometimes it won’t just show any of my blog entries on that search engine. Probably I did missed some key factors before yahoo will index my blog entries. But one thing for sure aside from blogspot.com, wordpress blogging system is also a Google Search Engine Friendly
I always believe that blogging is not for everyone. Whether you accept it or not, this is not really for everyone. Blogging involves Time, Money and Knowledge. You cannot expect a person to blog if he/she don’t have time to blog. You cannot convince a person to blog if he/she doesn’t want to use extra of his money to spend in putting up a blog site, maintaining it, making additional expenses in renting in a computer shop or paying additional electric bill if he is at home. The most important factor is that the person should know how to do it. Without that knowledge he just cannot even start blogging.
If you think you have those three things I mentioned go ahead explore the world of Blogging.

Charice Pempengco is one of the hottest blog entry in the entertainment blogista sphere today. This 15 year old princess performed on Oprah Winfrey show earlier this week. Pempengco told Oprah that “its a dream come true for me to be here at your show.” Pempengco also likes to sing the songs by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. I’m sure Filipinos were very proud of what Charice Pempengco has achieved so far.

This iPhone coming to the Philippines news is one hot topic this week. Infact, when I did my blog hopping routine I encountered tech blogistas mentioning iPhone related post on their blog sites.
It was mentioned on the news that Globe Telecom got the deal from Apple to bring iPhone to the Philippines. While the blogista community shows mixed reactions after hearing the news but I think Filipinos will still get this gadget since mobile gadgets prices usually goes down fast.
It’s day 2 after reviving the site. I was a little bit surprise that this domain still has some Incoming links despite of the removal of the original subdomain service and content few years ago. Most likely, the incoming links were old links from different domains. One of it is this post from weblogsecrets.comdated October 2, 2007. You might want to check the site as it has collection of entries that are related to blogging.

I do have more than 30 domains to date. Twenty percent of those are not active. Meaning it is just there with no content, no profit, nothing, zero. When I purchased this domain 3 to 4 years ago it was used for free subdomains until I decided to put it down after a year of operation. I tried to revive this domain several times in a span of 2 years but I just got no time to put some content or maybe I’m just busy with other domains and projects.
Today, while I was doing a list of all of my domains I realized how nice the name blogista.com was. Then, I told myself, somehow I should find a time at least use it for pleasure and profit. So, here I am reviving the site. I think I’ll stick to the original tagline of the site. “Your addiction starts here”. Pretty cool huh!
